Gone are the days that we used to go long haul and after some successful cruises, we have decided to enjoy Britain and enjoy 'being at home'.

So, 2011 was a very special year as it was our Golden (50th) Wedding Anniversary.  Time to be with the family and the lovely UK summer.

Our Easter Holiday was near Lewes in East Sussex and it was a delightful time meeting up with our Walking Group for the second week.
We managed several walks on the South Downs

Summer Holidays were spent at two music festivals, Sidmouth and Swanage
both, located on the South Coast in the UK.

An autumn holiday near London located in the Surrey Hills allowed us to visit two superb attractions -  Hampton Court Palace and Kew Gardens
