To celebrate our 47th Wedding Anniversary in July, we took a river cruise in Portugal arranged by Titan Holidays.  Starting in Oporto, where the River Douro meets the Atlantic Ocean,
we boarded the Douro Queen from the dockside at Vila Nova de Gaia
The ship then sailed the 200 kilometres of the Douro into Spain at Barca d'Alva.
We then travelled by coach to Salamanca before returning to the ship for our return journey along the River Douro back to Oporto

 Additional Holidays were also taken in the UK at various times of the year
